Dear Valued Guests, We have recently had a menu increase and it - TopicsExpress

Dear Valued Guests, We have recently had a menu increase and it was a significant one. We restaurant owners face many challenges today with high labor cost, high food cost and finding the right staff to help us with the day to day operations. We never like doing menu increases for fear of upsetting our guests or even worse losing them. After this recent menu increase I received a message on our Victor’s Mexican Grille FB and responded to it and explained the reason for why we had a menu increase. To our guests we are not perfect we definitely make mistakes, and would love the opportunity to correct them, guests just need to inform me or a manager. I feel that we do have really great Mexican food and some of the best margaritas in town. The only way we can improve or be better is for you the guest to let us know. Not go behind my back on the Weston Lake’s message board or Cross Creek FB page and insult my integrity and the legacy of my Family’s business. Like I said we are not perfect there is room for improvement but some things are out of my control such as the workforce available in our area. I have been a part of the Fulshear community for the last three years and have enjoyed it very much and would like to continue to be part of this great community. I the owner was faced with a decision to do the increase so that we can pay for the additional labor cost, increasing food cost and other operating expenses. We have always invested on the best meats, dairy, produce and dry goods available to maintain high quality standards. These ingredients only continue to increase and have had no choice but to adjust menu pricing. The thought of changing the quality would mean you the guest would not be satisfied and that is something I am not willing to do. I am also well aware of the AC problem that we have during the summer and will have that corrected. When I purchased the business in November of 2011 this information was not disclosed to me and was not noticed until the summer of 2012. I have made several changes and investments to help with this issue which has helped but during the hotter days of summer it’s just not enough. There are only a few companies that are able to help with this type of issue and are qualified to perform this type of work and none are located in the Houston area. I recently signed a contract with a company who is going to help us balance the building and suggests any changes. If this means we have to buy an additional AC unit or more return air I will. Victor’s really appreciates your business and support and if there is ever anything you are not satisfied with please let us know. My direct number is 281-772-3491 or email at [email protected]. We at Victor’s Mexican Grille appreciate your business and support and value each and every guest. Thank you for your time and understanding. Owner, Juan C. Garcia Victor’s Mexican Grille
