Dear Volunteers, The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is organizing its 2015 ECOSOC Youth Forum, “#Post2015: Youth Leading Forward” which will take place on 2-3 February 2015 in New York. The UN in Bangladesh will be sending two young delegates to attend the ECOSOC forum and engage in the discussions on the priorities for the post 2015 agenda. The selected participants will share their perspectives of priorities for the post 2015 agenda as young Bangladeshi’s who have a good understanding of key development issues and how these impact on a majority of the young people in the country. Representatives must be: Aged between 15 to 29 years Able to communicate in at least one of the six official languages of the United Nations Represent youth-led organizations, networks or movements and have the ability to consult with a wider group of young people All interested candidates are requested to send in their CV with a cover letter (no more than one page, font size12, 1.15 line spacing) detailing why they would be the best candidate to represent the concerns of Bangladeshi youth at the ECOSOC Youth Forum.
