Dear Zane, Me and my husband has been married 4 years together 5. And I have noticed that during our time as a married couple that he feels his life is still a secret.. He wont tell me certain things about him he says there not important and he does not trust people.. So I ask if u dont trust people Why get married? And also when you marry and your spouse has children already isnt the saying when you marry the mother you marry the children also.. Meaning they become a part of your life too right? MY RESPONSE: Without further details, it sounds like the two of you need some serious marriage counseling. People are different because of their pasts and some people do shut down. However, you are right, he should never have married you if he did not trust you. Ask him to get some counseling and see if he agrees. Either he wants to make some adjustments or he doesnt and you will have to govern yourself accordingly. Good luck.
