Dear Zane, my boyfriend is 25 at one point when he was 23 he messed around with a 17 year old girl. He said she told him she was 22 in college etc. But, when he did eventually find out how old she was he still remained friends with her, they are not friends at all anymore.This really bothers me, I just have 0 tolerance for people dating folks thats way younger than them, plus I have a sister that age so Im like wtf. This was before me, they were still friends for a little while when I came in the picture, but I dont want to be with no dude who lowkey likes little girls. I need to know am I just tripping or is this a red flag? MY RESPONSE: Are you saying that he stopped messing around with her when he found out her true age? If she lied to him and he simply remained friends with her, I am not seeing the issue. If you think he is shady, stop dating him but if she tricked him then why are you blaming him?
