Dear all, I, Patrick Gutierrez, would like to extend an arm of friendship to those who have not attended church before, or have and just stopped going. I know we do not know each other well, but I look forward to having a casual conversation with you. I am the new youth director and I plan on having a fantastic time of fellowship with the youth! A little about me before I entreat you. I am a self absorbed, egotistical, and obnoxious individ...wait...wait! I am sorry...that was my old sinful self. (Uh-hum) My apologies. I have reformed my ways, well I have curb them down to a level of at least acceptability. I am a life enjoying fool, I love to eat. I really mean I love to eat! I like movies that challenge the mind and the social order. I am bit of a nerd who loves to read short stories or read poetry. I have made life mistakes that affect me in the spiritual realm. I dabble a little into horror tale, both cinematic or prose. I, me, and myself are on a journey of self discovery with Jesus as my guide. He is my light in a dark world. Now I know you’re getting tired of the ME talk, so I would like for you to come tell me about YOU! Oh...I almost what is going on at Unity. I by profession have to explain my series of church teaching. For the month of August (and some of September) we will be answering the question of how to get out of trouble. We all have it. Boy-girl trouble, financial trouble, crumbling family trouble, or perhaps questioning God dilemmas. I have been through them all. We as a church have a rare opportunity that can discuss life issues without fear of judgment or fear of dis-fellowship. Getting Out of Trouble Series *Origin of trouble.
