Dear all I am the co-owner of imagination Street in Astwood Bank. I noticed a comment placed late last night about our staff not being CRB checked and various comments followed. I am pleased that someone had enough sense and responsibility to remove the thread as some of the comments were malicious, slanderous lies. We are a caring responsible business that employs over 30 local people and brings happiness to the community. We also adhere to all health and safety and safeguarding children requirements. As a play centre we never take responsibility for any child as we are not a nursery or crèche and we train our staff to ensure they never find themselves in such a situation. As such there is no need for our staff to be CRB checked. A quick call to either myself or my business partner would have cleared this matter up rather than this medium which opens up a forum for anonymous people to write whatever they like in a faceless fashion potentially threatening the good name of our business that we work tirelessly to maintain and the livelihoods of the people who work there. We are open and friendly people and I would reiterate my previous request that if anyone has any concerns please speak to us as people like we used to do before Facebook was ever invented.
