Dear all, Prof. Sudhir Jain, the director of IIT Gandhinagar (iitgn.ac.in), is visiting Caltech on July 15th, 2014 to meet graduate students (Masters/PhD all-years), post-docs and faculty. There will be an informal talk and interaction session with him that day at 3pm in BI 115 (Beckman Institute, 400 S. Wilson Ave., Pasadena 91125) at Caltech. The theme of the meeting is to communicate the developments at IITGN and seek interested candidates. Interested people from across disciplines are welcome. Prof. Sudhir Jain did his PhD in Civil Engineering from Caltech in 1983. Before the appointment in IITGN, he was a professor of Civil engineering at IIT Kanpur.
