Dear customers; Like most, from time to time I run my vehicle thru an automatic carwash. A couple of myths to dispel for you: 1. Automatic Car Washes scratch cars. WRONG! any decent carwash long switched over to soft foam like cloth that is closer to a chamois than a towel. ( or a weed wacker ) If your trying to peel off half a years worth of grime on your car, how do you know that scratch was caused by the car wash? It wasnt. It was there before, and the dirt was covering it up. 2. Carwashes dull paint. WRONG AGAIN! if your paint is faded, or has oxidation buildup, washing it will bring that oxidation to the surface and stick out like a sore thumb. Professional Detailing is how to renovate a dull finish. Lastly, our 3 step restoration process costs $100 on a sedan. Most professional carwashes have a good quality wash for around 12 bucks. Do the math. Professional detailers cant compete with automatic car washes, and they shouldnt want to.
