Dear fab Friends of WBS Friends of WBS have a new Committee! We are delighted to report that Wednesday evening’s AGM in the newly refurbished Sixth Form Area has produced an excellent new Committee. In the key roles are the wonderful: Mike Harrison – Chair Joy Baister – Vice-Chair Keith Trubshaw – Treasurer Sarah Pearce – Secretary Additional newcomers to the Committee are Kate Southgate, Marise Taylor, Angela Culley and Alison Wood. We are sure you will join us in wishing them every success, and in offering them our support for their future fundraising initiatives. With thanks… Helen and I have now stepped down from a fun two-year stint as Chair and Vice-Chair. We will continue as Committee members – just for the fun of it! We would like to thank all the many Friends of WBS – WBS staff, parents/carers and students – who have contributed so generously to Friends’ fundraising success over the past couple of years. In particular, we would like to thank the following fabulous ones, who have retired from key roles: Andrew Goldspink - Treasurer and Chief Supporter Helen Walker – Secretary & Chief Decorator of the Sixth Form Area Ellie Peters – Social Media Guru & joint longest-standing Committee member (6 years!)
