Dear friends, After the fact that the appeal court reduced my sentence from lifetime (25 years) to 10 years, we took the case to supreme court hoping for another step forward. For justice, and for freedom. My supreme court date was on June 30th, but I wasnt even allowed to attend the court room - neither were my family members. Since the supreme court is the highest and final instance, you would expect even the smallest details to be investigated. However, within 30 minutes the final decision concerning my life and future had been made. Unfortunately, I was told through the phone that my sentence remained unchanged - a decade, ten years in jail. But dont worry, or dont be too happy, because I never give up and I still believe in Gods will, in justice and in my freedom. Love, justice and freedom for all, Farzan Athari
