Dear friends, As you all know, we haven’t achieved our Telangana yet, there is one more last push to do. GOM (Group of Ministers) Today is the last day to send mails I request every individual to send an email to GOM - (Group of Ministers) opposing joint capital and our right to Telangana and Hyderabad immediately. Email Address - [email protected] Some points to include in your email - - Telangana people want self-respect and a self-rule within the framework of Indian Constitution. - Telangana people want Telangana state with 10 districts and Hyderabad as sole capital. - Telangana was merged with Andhra in 1956 against the wishes of Telangana people and many promises were made and none kept. - Seemandhras used their absolute majority in A.P. Assembly and grabbed Telangana land, water, jobs and funds. Injustice done in every sphere of development. - The population of AP was 3 Crores when it was formed in 1956. Today, Telangana itself has crossed 4.5 crores. When Hindi speaking people have 9 states, why cant we have two Telugu speaking states? - 30 lakhs Seemandhras came and settled in rural Telangana before AP state was formed. They never had any fear of living in Telangana. Why Seemandhra politicians are creating the mistrust? - People from all over India and some from Iran made Hyderabad their home for over two centuries, and they never asked for protection. Why Seemandhra politicians are asking security for settlers now? Seemandhras are not asking for security in Chennai and Bangalore, then why in Hyderabad? - Telangana people are demanding their fair share of river water according to Indian Water Tribunal and the International laws. - Few dozen Seemandhra politicians/Businessmen grabbed thousands of acres of Government land dirt cheap around Hyderabad using inside information and are now actively opposing the de-merger. - Telangana SC, ST groups were discriminated, and all reservation benefits went to Seemandhra SC, ST groups disproportionately. - Twenty-four Telangana Mandals from surrounding Rangareddy, Nalgonda, Medak and Mahaboonagar districts added to Greater Hyderabad City. They are part of Telangana and must come under Telangana courts for any disputes. - Over 70 percent of Telangana rural employees live in Hyderabad and commute to work up to 100 KM daily. They are spending their hard earned money in Hyderabad and contributing to Hyderabad revenues. Seemandhra rural employees are not commuters and are not contributing their income to Hyderabad revenues. - Three-hundred villages and 2 lakh tribal people will be displaced if we built Polavaram project. Late Irrigation Minister K.L. Rao and Ch Hanmanth Rao, a well known Seemandhra Engineer opposed the construction of Polavaram project because of poor soil conditions at the foundation. We can built small barriers and achieve the same goals without displacing the 2 lakh tribals. - Jalayagnam loans made during the Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy term, and his predecessor Mr. C.B. Naidu, funds are not spent on Telangana projects. Instead they built illegal projects like Potireddy padu and Pulichinthala projects to benefit Seemandhra. Telangana was not a backward region when India got her Independence. It was made backward by Seemandhra politicians and Seemandhra bureaucrats. Three-hundred sixty-nine students died in police firing in 1969 agitation, and over 1000 people committed suicide since December 9, 2009 announcement. Telangana people demand the equal rights under Indian constitution, and will not tolerate anything less.
