Dear friends, Life, as they say, is full of surprises. And, it feels magnanimous when one finds himself/herself to be the reason for it. So friends, may I stake a claim today, for being one of those reasons? Grant me the honour of unveiling a close-to-heart dream of mine that has finally been given form in print, without any shades of grey. My maiden brush with the literary world through a work of English fiction titled The Turnouts – tribute to a distant star. The form and shape this work has finally evolved into will in all probability trespass age groups across the board. Incidentally, all writers, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, are exposed to a litmus test only when their ideology, through the book, reaches out to the readers. The readers’ critique, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, a recognition in itself to keep the passion of writing alive in a writer, which in a nutshell is any author’s primary intent. So, may I construe with all humility that a critique from your end, having read the book, would be recognition of the work in itself? I would be equally glad if you could slice out a piece of your precious time, to transmit this message into your own social-space exploiting the indomitable power of social-networking that we are gifted with today! So, do ‘pull up a shopping-cart’ and gatecrash into Crossword, Amazon, Flipkart, Ureads, Infibeam, Homeshop18, Landmarkonthenet etc. The book is also being made available in almost all the popular ‘brick and mortar’ stores Pan-India!
