Dear friends, some of you know me as a punk rocker. A title that was bestowed on me during the early 90’s when I played drums for what Wikipedia once described as a “Seminal Chicago punk band”-OBLIVION and of course my 4 productive years with the Bollweevils which some describe as the golden years of said band. And my heavy involvement in the “scene” as you will. I am flattered by the title, but I now must hand it all back as Sunday I will be seeing Kelly Clarkson in concert, who you all know is the anti punk. Being in her presence will strip me of any puck powers I had like the ability to live on the road for 8 bucks a day, to be able to sleep on any floor at any time, to hate any band that made more money than I did, and of course the rare punk ability to shop at Guitar Center and not look like a d-bag.
