Dear good people, Moved by the passionate presentation of the Jack Ododos ordeal and the subsequent appeal for financial support written by Saintmoses Eromosele, founder and first president of Ewu Students Association of Nigeria (ESAN), donations have started coming in from the writers friends and associates, hopefully to foot the N300,000 legal fees for Jack Ododos release. He needs 300k for his legal and logistics fees but even more to rehabilitate him when hes out. Specifically, one angelic Abuja-based woman from the Benin Royal Family has yesterday donated N150,000 naira to this noble cause. She does not want to be named until Jack is released. The Ewu people cannot hide their gratitude to this godly woman. We say may God continue to lift her up and bring her enemies down daily. Amen. Other people have made pledges but no other payment has been received so far. Mr Darlington Okpebholo and Uromi Voice has pledged to do something before Wednesday next week. Another pledged 40k from France. More are expected in the coming hours and days. We decided to make this announcement for transparency and appreciation purposes. Meanwhile, the court sat on the matter yesterday and has adjourned till 12 of February when we hope that the Motion of bail that has been moved would have been considered and be granted.
