Dear graduate, Welcome to the real world! You have come this far. Congratulations. I have few advices for you and I hope you will never forget them: My dear, never give up. No matter how much unfortunate you think you are because your dream job seems to be flipping away from you, never give up. Yes, I intentionally repeated it twice and I am now repeating it again; never give up. Some of you might raise your eyebrows at me because I am acting all-knowingly as if I have been working for years already. But unfortunately, no. I am just a 19-year-old who recently graduated who happens to have a job immediately. And I didnt say it to boast about it, I am saying this because if I can do it; why cant you? And you know, although I have been working for only a couple of months, it has changed my perspective already. I hope yours will change, too. Listen, when I say never give up, take it into your mind and your heart. This does not only apply while you are hunting for a job, it could also be your mantra while you are working already. Life may not always give you lemons. No matter what happens, just stay positive. Always remember that being optimistic helps in a lot of ways. It keeps you from stress, you can do your job very well because you can remain focused and, it can even lift the mood in your office. Laughing helps a lot. It is advisable if you have a team mate. You can ease the tension and at the same time, comfort yourself. Do not care about the others if they think you are not doing your job and here you are, enjoying the time of your life. Remember, you can never please everyone. Just let other people think of what they like. However, if other peoples opinion already affects your job, dont just sit down there. Take action. Remain calm and composed then everything will turn out just fine. At the end of the day, no matter how much we try to impress everyone, most of the time, they will not appreciate it. So why bother about it? Focus on your job and do it in an impeccable manner. Your boss will definitely give you credit for it. Remember, you are working for your boss and not for them. And oh, before I forget, always remember the magic word: Patience. Cheers!
