Dear members (Past, present and potentially those of the future!) WELCOME to the new season for Newark Amateur Operatic Society. It is our 80th Year, and the board have been busy planning a fantastic year ahead with the spectacular show THE KING AND I As well as rehearsals and all the social fun to be had with that, the society year 2014-2015 will be filled with an exciting array of extra social activities and culminate in a special 80th Anniversary Party later in 2015. The Show will be performed at the Newark Palace Theatre from the 24th -28th March 2015. If you wish to be part of this special show either onstage/backstage, or wish to help the society by lending a hand in any way you can offer then please come along to our first introductory meeting THURSDAY 25th SEPTEMBER 7.30pm Highfields School, London Rd, Newark, NG24 3AL For current and past members – you know the score, it will be an opportunity to come back and see old friends and help to welcome our potential new members, and show them what fun being in a Newark Operatic show will be.
