Dear members, on behalf of the Chairman and Board of Directors of The Indian Board of Prosthodontics ( IBP), its my huge honour to inform you that the first exam of the IBP Part I was held on 14th October in 6 centres all over the country including Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Trivandrum and Kochi. The IBP is an all India exam conducted by the IPS to identify excellence in Prosthodontics, and give them board certification. We must thank the President Dr. Mahendranadh Reddy and all the past presidents of IPS, including Dr. Suha Nagda, Padmanabhan ( also the chairman of the Board ), Dr. Udey Vir Gandhi, Dr. Mahesh Verma for their unstinted support. Mention must be made of the immense contribution by Prof. Dr. Chandrasekharan Nair, Prof. Dr. Sridhar Shetty, Prof. Dr. Solomon, Prof. Dr. Suresh Meshram, Prof. Dr. Hariparkash amongst others. We must also thank the paper setters including Dr. Kamalakanth Shenoy, Dr. Ramesh Nadiger, Dr. Sanjay Kalra, Dr. Anil kumar, Dr. Padma Ariga, Dr. Meena Aras, Dr. Sanjana, Dr. Akshay Bhargava, and Dr. Vaibhav Avinashe.
