Death Investigation: Boston Police Investigating a Double Shooting in the area of 92 Rosewood Street in Mattapan At about 2:44am, on Monday, January 27, 2014, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to an outside scene for shots fired in the area of 92 Rosewood Street. On arrival, officers located two victims (a male and a female) both suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds and life threatening injuries. The male victim, believed to be his twenties, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased. The female victim, believed to be her twenties, was transported to the Brigham & Women’s Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased. The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
