Debate competition at Calliope college of education, Doomi, Jammu: Sachnews Jammu Kashmir: The debate competition organized at Calliope college of education, Doomi Jammu today on 31th March 2014. The Topic of the debate was Newspaper are the things of Past. Mr Arun Gupta Chairman institute of public opinion was the Chief Guest. Dr. Kajal Manhas Assistant professor Education Department of Jammu University, Mrs Sunita Pandita Principal Of Calliope College of Education and Mrs. Anju Kakri Founder Principal The Calliope school were the Jury members. The programme started with the traditional lighting of the lamp . The welcome address was given by Pragati Guleria. Participants presented their relevant and valuable views regarding the topic. Diksha Sharma got first prize, Sujata sharma got second prize and the third prize was shared by Rajni Sharma and Shivangi Rajput. Team of U4U voice jammu distributed watches among the winners. Painting Competition awards were also presented to the first and second winners Ruby Langhey and Shivangi Rajput. Chief Guest Mr Arun .K.Gupta gave his valuable suggestions to the students . the Certificates of participation were distributed among all the participants . Er. Manish Suri Chairman of Calliope group of institution presented the mementoes to the chief guest and guest of honors. At the end ,vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Tania Gaur a student of Calliope College of education.
