Remember, a gift given grudgingly is a curse on the giver.... The gifts of God are to be received in the same unstinting and joyful spirit in which they are given--freely, magnanimously, never counting the cost. The same requirements are made of rich and poor, namely a broken heart and contrite spirit, contentment with sufficiency (1 Timothy 6:5-8), no envy of anothers possessions, no preoccupation of getting more, not acquiring by the labor of others.
