December 21, 2013. Thats the day you left me. One year ago today. What can I say? It has been hard. Drove by the house the other day. Thought I caught I a glimpse of you. Yep, standing there propped on side on side of truck, hat turned sideways. Just standing there looking out across who knows where. Oh my God! What I would give to see that stare one more time. Am I selfish for wanting you here with me? Asking you to leave such a wonderful place. Sometimes I hear you call my name and it stops me in my tracks. As these tears roll down my face, I cant help but smile. I know you are here with me. I cant wait to see you!! To see you smiling, happy and so free! Free from grief and pain. I love you and will see you soon.
