December 3 Make every effort to live a pure and blameless life. And be at peace with God. Now you are no longer a slave but Gods own childe. And since you are his child, everything he has belongs to you. You should consider yourselves dead t sin and able to live for the glory of God through Christ Jesus. Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to its lustful desires. Do not let any part of your body become a tool of wickedness, to be used for sinning. Instead, give yourselves completely to God since you have been given new life. And use your whole body as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God. Obey God because you are his children. Dont slip back into your old ways of doing evil; you didnt know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God--who chose you to be his children--is holy. If you keep yourself pure, you will be a utensil God can use for his purpose. your life will be clean, you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lords work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. We should not become lazy and complacent because Christ has not yet returned. Instead, we should live in eager expectation of his coming. What would you like to be doing when Christ returns?
