Deep down, we want our lives to disrupt us, surprise us, and change the stories we tell ourselves. We dont know who we are and the more we get close to other people, the less we know them also. Life invites us into an ongoing process of vulnerability. We reach out imperfectly, others do the same, and in the process we discover that our lives are incredibly mysterious. But we discover something else too: That the circle of kindness can grow wider and wider.
