Delhi has always topped the nation in terms of the highest number of under-age drivers and now according to police, the underage driver are getting younger with each passing year. In 2012, the average age of the underage driver was 17. In 2013, the average age fell to 15-16. And till May 15 this year, the average age of the 70 underage drivers caught by the Delhi Traffic Police was just 14-15 years. Kids – You got to understand that driving your dad’s car in order to impress your friends and girlfriends is definitely not a wise thing to do. Respect the rules of the road and respect your and others’ lives. Parents – Please keep a close check on your kids. If you allow your underage kids to get behind the wheels of your car, you aren’t doing any service to the nation. You are as much of an outlaw as your kid!
