Delicious Jacobmade, patented and trademarked jalapeno (pronounced jah-lah-pen-oh) pawpers!!! SHAZAM! That. Just. Happened... Although I botched them sort of... I mixed equal parts cream cheese and shredded Colby-Jack (probably would have been better with cheddar, cause everythigs better with chetter), sliced and hollowed the jalapeños (leaving a little bit on the end to hold things in, as seen in the first picture), filled them with the cheese mixture, then covered in milk and crushed croutons (I probably should have either scuffed up the outside of the jalapeños, or instead used egg, as the milk mostly dripped off). I then fried them in the deep fryer, being careful to briefly submerge them, then keeping the oil level below the top, to prevent the cheese from melting away. Prep time was ~10 minutes. Cooking time was ~2 minutes. End result? Yum. JACOBMADE! (They look much more greasy than they are, since the jalapeños and cheese do not absorb the oil, and it all drips onto the plate, allow them to rest on paper towels for ~2 mins. to prevent this.)
