Denise Denye Schiltz . Schiltz, Denise Denye (nee Browne) Age 52, of Corcoran, MN. Denye was born on October 28, 1961 in Meadowbrook, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia. She passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2014. Denye grew up in South Philadelphia and moved with her family to Center Valley, PA when she was in grade school. She was a cheerleader, gymnast and honor student at Southern Lehigh High School and treasured her Eastern Pennsylvania roots. She started her business career as an office assistant at a regional sales office for Miles Homes in Quakertown, PA. During her 15 year career there, she helped thousands of families achieve their dream of homeownership. When she left Miles Homes in 1999, she was Vice President of Operations at the corporate offices in Connecticut, managing more than 150 employees. Fifteen years ago she moved into a new position that she considered by far her most important - mother and family matriarch. In addition to being an incredible and loving wife, mother and homemaker, she served as Director of Sunday School at St Annes Catholic Church in Hamel. She also organized St. Annes Vacation Bible School program and Nativity pageant. Denye was a prodigious volunteer working for the March of Dimes, Rockford Area Athletic Association and the St Annes festival. Her biggest volunteer contribution was as the Service Unit Manager for the Rockford Area Girl Scouts. She helped rebuild the service unit and more than doubled its size in her first two years as its leader. Denye was a mentor to many women in her professional and volunteer careers as well as in her personal life. She touched many lives in a very positive way. In her spare time, she was an incredible cook and loved hosting dinner parties. She also loved crafting; there was no project that she could not take from ordinary to extraordinary. She was preceded in death by her mother, Berniceann Browne. Survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Steve; children, Catie, Nick & Nathan plus Cocoa & Oreo; father, John; siblings, David (Judy); Donna (Gary) & Dan (Michele); nephews & nieces, McKenzie & Dalton; Andrew, Tim & Jennifer; George & Tyler; Samantha & Anna; Abby & Alex. A reviewal will be held at Gearty- Delmore Funeral Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. at Vicksburg Lane in Plymouth on Tuesday, April 15th from 5 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Annes Catholic Church, 200 Hamel Rd. in Hamel at 11 am on Wednesday, April 16th. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the education fund for Schiltz children. Gearty-Delmore 763
