Hanging out in the proverbial “rock bottom” teaches us so much.. not only do we glean the realness of life; like who our real friends are, and most importantly, who we really are.. but it also teaches us how to be human and how, no matter how hard it is, to just hang in there like that cute little kitten, even if only by a thread.
