Despite my Libertarian political ilk, I AM OPPOSED to motor organ donation via the BMV License branch. The personale working there are THE WORST source of credible information regarding this highly-personal matter. An underage 16-year-old on his/her visit to the BMV should NOT be subjected to full organ donation as a result of the 20 questions the BMV is famous-for. I am PRO ORGAN DONATION, but NOT under these Statist recruitment techniques... Do we place a value on the age of majority??? Yes, parents have veto power in the I.C.U., but AFTER the highly-traumatizing event of a fateful decision to cease life support and end a 16-year-old life... THAT is an unfair and inappropriate request! Donate your organs, but THINK AHEAD and dont do-it at the license branch.
