I am getting the impression that when Rama of Ramayanam killed and the wealth of Raavana taken, it was spent on wars and more wars if history is anything to go by: Ramarajya, Mahabaratham and of course every other war in history waged so that property of others could be seized legally. In old days they were known as gangsters, plunderers, murderers etc.. If its done today, it is punishable as long as it is done by small time thugs and not enterprise or syndicate. It appears the moment Rama of the Deva clan got power of immortality from Ravana, the Devas have been bullying the Asurar, ruthlessly plundering them because they had lost their protection and become vulnerable.. If one reads Ramayan who else but another ex-murderer and thug should write it, when Rama was sheding copious tears because his name was sullied by sudden exit by Seethai, raising very serous doubts in the discerning subjects about his philanthropic philandering, Bramha assures him the woman he had mission on earth with was none other than Lakshimi, Goddess of Wealth. Yey...he must have thought I am sure, all his troubles gone. All he had to do was remain celibate to prove to his subjects that he was Uhamapurucan(உத்தமபுருசன்) meaning pure hubby until the arrival of Lakshimi. Unfortunately Lakshimis wealth did not constitute of money because it was already taken and spend by the ex, but mainly in terms of auspiciousness and benediction which was lost too when she ended up in the forest practicing celibacy and austerity to prop Ramas alter ego. ) I am thinking this might be the explanation for the strange Noble Truths Buddha was teaching to Thamils in Lanka. I always used to wonder why being a Thamil Land it became such strong Buddhist country, when South India did not ! Now we know !!!( In Lanka the there was unwritten Law that Thamil women must not be touched, Buddha put it in a nutshell when he said paro siya. So, now that Sinhalese of his cartel have actually gone and got rid of Lukshimi and her people, her appearance again be another 10,000 years, what is going to happen to the Sinhalese and the world at large now, today??? It only confirms my believe we are invaded by preying aliens of greater intelligence power and long life using us workers for their sojourn on earth. If these Ramas and Buddhas came to earth with an intention of helping humanity, they certainly made sure their nest on earth quite comfortable from which hence it is easy to rape and reap. If one notices their method was very simple. Their alter ego was front, the Religion which was then used to divide and rule. Lanka is a Thamil Saiva Land !!! Buddhism is a bogus religion and I am sure so are the others. ( Some one seem to have run short on cash). It is unusual and striking but there were 3 attempts on Buddhas life by none other than his own disciple who voluntarily joined Buddha to become a monk. Later he contested to run the Sanga, making one wonder if the Sanga was in reality a cartel, Buddha naturally refused. His cousin Devadatta also requested Five extra rules to be added. He requested the Buddha to make it compulsory for monks to follow five extra rules: (i) Dwell all their lives in the forest (ii) Live only on alms obtained by begging (iii) Wear robes made from rags collected from the dust heaps and cemeteries (iv) Live at the foot of trees (v) Refrain from eating fish or meat throughout their lives. Buddha obviously Refused ....... I think it will do wonders to the souls of Buddhist monks in Lanka if they followed the rules with piety. Bodhisattva (போதி சாத்துவிகம் ) means one who acts selflessly in the interest of others. But that does not mean keeping quiet when injustices are perpetrated. Martin Luther King is a Bodhisattva, so is Gandhi, Malcom X and the devine LTTE and any who rise against any injustice. Being less intelligence does not mean we were born to be exploited. It should help us to understand why Saivam taught one to be vegetarian because it encompassed all life forms within us, rousing the greater quality of empathy and sympathy. It is I am told the first killing that is hard. Imagine blood-letting millions of animals, that allows for improving ourselves to become as invincibly ruthless as the Sinhalese, and it was all done through Buddhism....
