Dialog between me and friends of factions! When one mentions the word “factions” automatically here in the Western Cape leaders tend to associate him or her with something called “shebeen politics” ….. A week ago a leader said to me: “Haai comrade why are you so full of this shebeen politics” Thinking I would be offended by his statement but I looked at him and said: “My brother I cannot be offended by your statement but your statement makes me proud and more importantly makes me respect my freedom much more as most of my political teachings was thought to me by a drunk men now ask yourself this question why was this men drunk? Let me answer the question I posed to you , This men was a political prisoner ,this men was forced to go into exile , gave up most of his family life for our freedom , he faced death , he saw things that would haunt you and I ,chief to the point this men found comfort in his bottle, he used the bottle to forget things that he saw and was faced with he used his bottle to forgive himself for whatever guilt he felt and all of this was brought onto him to liberate us the youth of this country from the oppressor so never ever think you statement will ever offend me chief ever and on this note do me favour and convey a message to your leaders in the Western Cape the decisions they make politically one would swear they are drunk ,drunk on a case of glenfiddich” He then posed question to me: “Moodley why don’t you forget this thing of yours and focus on election campaigning?” I replied: “That is my intention sir election campaigning the principle task is to influence the voter to go out and vote for the organization we believe in and in order to do so one needs to tell them the great story of our organization and also to point out the FAILURE of our opposition but how does one do so when comrades leading the protest actions of our people against the DA, comrades that are showing the country and the world how the DA lead province is failing the poor are labeled troublesome and being dealt with harshly by own very own ANC leaders in the province Now a very important question to all of you.. Protest action is a clear reflection of a failing government now if we the ANC had to be leading protest actions in the western cape would it not be clear that we are behind the poorest of poor ? Would it not be clear that we see the DA for who they really are? Would our involvement in protest action not be a key note factor in our election campaign here in the western cape? If we analysis the election manifesto we will note it takes us back to the freedom charter... land reform, people shall govern etc... Now how can we speak out about the election manifesto if its clear that our provincial secretary is drifting away from the freedom charter? Comrades please answer as I would love to be equipped when doing my election campaign work ? Now on a more serious note we Ancyl Ward Ten have requested posters and boards to place on light poles and we are still waiting on positive feedback point I am concentrating on election campaigns....
