Dialogue on Awakening by Tom Carpenter Part III of III Tom: Would it be helpful for us to gather together and while focusing on being the expression of love, send love to the environment that seems to be in danger? Jesus: It is not the environment that requires the sending of love to. You will persists in seeing the need to project something outside yourself to effect a healing and I am saying to you the only healing that need occur is that which exists within you own vision as it appears to be less than the vision of God. Send nothing into the environment but a reflection of who you are and you will see it existing in a state of wondrous perfection. You do not need to project it there, you need to simply see from within and you will recognize that it has always been so. If the environment as you see it were one of Gods precious possessions, would He not prevent you from ruining it? Were it to truly be in danger, would He not step in to prevent this from occurring? Were you to be in danger because you do not see who you are, would He not step in to prohibit this from happening? What I am giving you is the definition of your illusion about yourself. You cannot change the Creation of God. You cannot mar its beauty. You cannot tarnish your own Divinity – you can simply accept to see it, or not. And time plays no part in this. Were you truly to accept what I have said, would that not lighten your burden? Could you not then accept your expression of life as being a joyful one? How do we accomplish this healing? Allow that which is not true to have no meaning for you. It is a process of allowing truth which is pre-existent to be recognized by giving up the illusion of that which is not true. You are seeking a magic formula of what to do, of rules set down from one to ten which you could follow each morning and each evening. And I will say to you that while there is a time when this may be a help, as you become attached to the belief that it is the rules which are allowing you to awaken, you have become convinced that you have all this time been asleep, that the illusion has become real and, in fact, that is what I would confirm to you if I were to give you this formula. I would have been conveying a meaning to you that is inconsistent with truth. I will give you a hint: what you will find when you have Awakened, is that you have never stopped being totally loving, that you never have seen an expression from any aspect of Gods Creation which could bring you a message that was not loving. So as you look for things to allow to pass away, my suggestion would be this: those things which come to your perception as not being loving would not be representative or consistent with your recognizing who You are. I will further define those things as being sensations of fear. Categorically I will say, give up your belief in fear and there will be nothing left which seems to contradict love. As you give up the belief in fear, as you adopt the meaning that is inherent with being defenseless, you are acknowledging to yourself that your safety lies solely in expressing the loving Being as you are. Much of the time you will expect more from my answers than what I may give you because they will appear to be too simple. You will say to yourself, there must be more involved than this. But I will say to you, as you allow yourself to hear the voice of simplicity, you will know you are hearing Truth.
