Did I sleep through something? I dont recall the public having a say in anything connected to the Affordable Health Care bill. It was drawn up and written in secret, then quickly passed at the end of the year by a Democrat Senate and House of Representatives, read by not one senator or representative. Everything the public was told about the bill was untrue, except that pre-existing health issues would be covered (no mention of the astronomical premiums), that 26 yr olds would be covered by their parents plans, and that those who could not afford even the cheapest plan would be covered by Medicaid or government subsidies. This man was right. If there had been truth told about the formation and content of the bill, there would have been a hue and cry throughout the country....well, maybe not. One more tiny little thing: Those with pre-existing conditions are FORCHED to sign up for the AHC government insurance. Insurance companies not connected to it will not insure them. And the premiums are two to three times the amount . of previous costs. Yes, the bill contains some good stuff! It probably should not be gutted, but it could certainly stand some tweaking. As with all my rants, this is just one womans opinion. I dont expect everyone to agree, but we can disagree agreeably.
