Did the Companions of the Prophet (saw) go to America? Research conducted in the West during the twentieth century has proven the existence of Muslims on the American mainland approximately seven centuries before Christopher Columbus. According to the information in this article, some American historians have suggested that Sahabah in the time of Uthman (ra) or Ali (ra) went over to America and settled there. Very very interesting reading. P.S I am not sharing this a solid fact. It is an opinion based on research. But I will say, Colombus did not discover America.
