This morning, in my role as Chair of the Citizens Curriculum Advisory Committee, I had a meeting to review some data about student performance when integrating technology, to help inform the upcoming high school math curriculum adoption decision. Im looking forward the committee making a solid recommendation to the board on February 2nd. Today I also joined other Stand for Children members in a meeting with Superintendent Mike Scott and learned more about the transition to full-day kindergarten, the upcoming years budget, the new annual instructional hours requirements, and more.
