Did you know that children need fat and protein in their snacks? It keeps them satiated, helps regulate their blood sugar so they arent constantly hungry, and gives them brain food so they can focus and concentrate. If you pack a fruit...add a fat to slow the sugar absorption. What kind of nutrient-dense snacks do you pack for your children? Some of the things I pack are: grass-fed beef sticks, avocado with pink salt, and cut up veggies with almond butter.
