Did you know that in New York State, which has a population of over roughly 20 million people, gets more than half of its states political contributions from just about 170 people/companies? Talk about the 0.0000085%! Still, legislators including the Governor are not pushing or pushing hard enough to include #publiccampaignfinancing in the states budget this year. You can thank the Republicans for that one, not that Democrats like Andrew Cuomo dont reap the total benefits of the current corrupt system.
