Did you know we feed 17,000 children in Zambia one or two meals each day? “As with many other African nations, the orphaned and vulnerable children in the slums of Lusaka suffer the horrors of poverty, malnutrition and despair on almost a daily basis. These food donations have allowed us to attack head-on the malnutrition issues that many of our sponsored children struggle with. The results have been incredible,” said Anthony Bruster of Family Legacy Missions Zambia. Since starting the program, attendance has risen 13 percent, grades are increasing and mothers have begun to meet each morning at the school to prepare the meals and serve them. “Serving these meals has truly had a community-wide impact in each of the schools!”
