Diesel fuel is very slippery, and if there is a spill at the gas pumps, and you happen to get out of your car and step on a puddle of it, there is a great likelihood that you are going to slip and fall. A patient came to me yesterday after this happened to him. The diesel fuel was puddled on the asphalt of the gas station, and his feet flew out from underneath him, causing back and hip injuries. Doctors, advise your patients of this ever increasing scenario - we can prevent injuries.
