Digital Support Technician E. W. Scripps Company - Cincinnati, OH The E.W. Scripps Company is hiring a Digital Support Technician to join our growing product team in Cincinnati, OH. The Digital Support Technician will provide technical and network problem resolution to Scripps customers by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Solutions include, but are not limited to, resolving username and password problems, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verifying proper hardware and software set up, and troubleshooting email/phone issues. Key activities Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, guiding client through corrective steps. Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation Deliver service and support to end-users Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services Gather customers information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms Research required information using available resources; Follow standard processes and procedures; Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications; Redirect problems to appropriate resource Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated tracking software Education & Experience/Certifications Associates degree or equivalent experience 1-3 years of experience with a focus on customer and/or technical support Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to organize and prioritize tasks Must have excellent analytical problem solving skills, with the ability to research and create viable solutions Should be self-motivated, flexible, and eager to constantly learn/expand skill set Technical aptitude, ability and interest to learn systems to fix minor issues and investigate all other issues for appropriate escalation) Proper phone etiquette Ability to speak clearly and accurately Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment Knowledge of customer service principles and practice Must be able to work flexible schedule About Scripps: The E.W.
