Dignity Memorial Funeral Home and Kroger to host Car Show & Heath Fair benefiting the American Diabetes Association Louisville, Kentucky – On Saturday, June 29, 2013 Dignity Memorial Funeral Home and Kroger will be host the 5th annual Cruizin’ for a Cure Car Show and Health Fair to benefit the American Diabetes Association. There will be special prize drawings for pre-registered cars, as well as free t-shirts for the first 100 cars registered and trophies for the top 10 vehicles. The health fair sponsored by Kroger will include free diabetes blood glucose screenings and information on pre-diabetes and being at risk for developing diabetes. Bone density testing, kid ID’s, ear exams, fitness, wellness and information to a live a healthier and safer life will also be offered. Refreshments are free, but donations will be accepted. The event will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 10645 Dixie Highway in Louisville, next to the Valley Station Kroger. For more information on the Car Show, please contact Jim Caskey at (502) 937-6400.
