In this latest Dior Homme campaign featuring British actor Robert Pattinson, the concept of "A Free Agent" is all about "those who drove fast, loved furiously and lived by one rule: to be freed: come what may". The idea for the campaign, shot by Romain Gavras, is inspired by legendary actors Marlon Brando, James Dean, Paul Newman and Monty Clift - all of whom, during their time, embodied a certain idea of masculinity, extraordinary personalities with whom the camera fell in love. Pattinson, the perfect successor to these seductive and complex characters, gives off a sense of determination, and has an intense and strong screen prescence. All this is captured in the film 1000 Lives by Gavras, a sequence of black and white images bathes in light where Pattinson appears in various artistic shots to capture the whole idea of "a man with 1000 lives". The scent, described as masculine, woody and spicy, is packaged in a clean and masculine bottle which plays on two sensations - virile and refined.
