Directions to Swain County Center for the Arts From Asheville, NC, take I-40 West to Exit 27 at Clyde, NC. Take US Highway 74 West all the way to Bryson City, NC. Take Exit 67 at Bryson City. Turn right onto Veterans Boulevard. Go to the first stop light in front of Shell Gas Station. Turn right onto US Highway 19 (Main Street). Go to the first stoplight. Turn left onto Everett Street. Go straight; cross railroad track. Continue straight (the road will be curvy) for about 1.2 miles until you see Victory Baptist Church. To go to the front of the Center for the Arts: Turn left onto second paved road after Victory Baptist Church. Sign will say Swain County High School. Go all the way around the right side of the High School to the parking lot. The Center for the Arts has columns and a small amphitheater out front. There is a sign as you enter the parking lot and another sign in front of the Center for the Arts, in addition to the large letters over the front entrance. To get to the Center for the Arts loading dock at the back of the stage: Turn left onto the first paved road immediately after Victory Baptist Church. In a few yards, turn right onto the first paved road. Go through the bus parking lot and all the way around the left side of the high school. Go to the last loading dock where the pavement ends. There is a sign, “Swain County Center for the Arts Loading Dock.”
