Disappointing Bak Kut Teh Wanted to come here for Founders Bak Kut Teh but realized its closed, probably only open at night. Eventually went for the nearest alternative i.e Balestier Bak Kut Teh. I ordered a bowl of BKT and ice tea, and paid $9.10 for it. After sitting down, I saw theres in fact set meal which has more than what I ordered, and cheaper! When my food is being served, I asked about the set meal whether its available everyday or weekdays only. She replied everyday with a very poor attitude and simply brushed me off. Fine. And so I tried the BKT, realizing the meat is tough, soup not so flavorish and you tiao too hard. I was already very disappointed, and the same lady came to me and told me if I want to order the set meal, come back next time lo. As I was recently working in Changi Business park area, I happened to patron Song Fa BKT quite often with my colleagues, and quite impressed by the food standard. So I replied the lady that I definitely will not come back again as Song Fa BKT is so much nicer. Her next reply is even more impressive. How can u compare us to SongFa, they have been around for so many years. Oh my... Look, Im doing an apple to apple comparison here. How can u sustain business with this kind of attitude, not trying to improve relative to your competitors?? To fans of this Balestier BKT, sorry but Im definitely advising everyone against coming here. Utterly disappointed
