Discourse on death In the Book, the Preacher sermons there is a time for everything under the wide and great heavens, this up to now is happening. Adam lasted to a long age of nine hundred and three decades, Noah on this earth did stay and lived nine hundred and fifty. Sarah, seven hundred twenty, Abraham, one hundred sixty, Job, paragon of true patience, hundred forty in existence. We have shorter longevity though we live in modernity, no matter, this will not alter the Preacher’s words cited earlier. From death each one is escapeless, it hangs like Sword of Damocles precariously over one’s head, falls at the time God has decreed. With certainty so does come death, but while waiting for the last breath, every man must live by the Word that, to us, was sent by the Lord.
