Distance Education Centre Victoria is taking part in the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, from the 8th-14th December. The Hour of Code is a one-hour activity where students of all ages can choose from a variety of self-guided tutorials. Learn to program Angry Birds, build an iPhone game in an hour, control your own virtual robot or design an interactive drawing program. If you are interested in participating, watch this video: https://youtube/watch?v=rH7AjDMz_dc Register your interest by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Hour of Code” and your name and year level in the body of the email. Once registered, we will send you a link to the Hour of Code tutorials with some information on how to participate. Each tutorial is self-guided. All you need is access to a computer, a modern web browser, tablet or iPhone and an hour of your free time.
