After the film, we will have a Q&A session with Jeronimo Prieto, director and producer of this documentary. More about Mexico Pelagico Mexico Pelagico is a documentary film that raises awareness for open ocean conservation by promoting a realistic solution: partnerships with local fishermen to replace shark fishing with sustainable ecotourism in order to improve the livelihood of the fishermen and to protect marine species. The film was produced by Pelagic Life a non-profit organization based in Mexico. Mexico Pelagico is the product of a collaborative effort that has gotten support from local non-profit organizations in Mexico like WWF and Nature Conservancy, government environmental institutions in Mexico and the private sector.
