Divine Hand of Power Ministries, Message of the Week: The Way of the Lord [2] John 4:10 “Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” In our last message, we took time to examine our closeness with our heavenly father and our knowledge of Christ or lack of it thereof. We discovered that the demise of the majority of the Children of God is a lack of a close a relationship with our father and our creator and the true and accurate knowledge of the gospel of Christ despite our regular church attendance. Therefore, satan, the enemy of our eternal soul has taken advantage of this ignorance and has flooded the would be body of Christ with his messages through his human agents disguised as men and women of God, whom he has used to hold down the curtain of deceit and distortion of information about our heavenly father and the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a result, the sound word of God that gives life which is in itself living waters are lacking in the would be body of Christ. Now, what most children of God are being fed are polluted waters from the throne of the prince of this world which cannot support any life everlasting. Therefore when God said in Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children”. We should ask ourselves what knowledge is God referring to here? By what or by who are God’s children destroyed? How is this knowledge rejected since we attend churches every week? Is the rejection of this knowledge by default of what we have been told for years about who God is, which are untruths, as a result the laws of God are cast out of our memories to our detriment? Jesus lamented one day about this lack of knowledge of our heavenly father when He was here on earth. Notwithstanding, around Him were thousands of people who attended Synagogues every week, just as people attend Churches today who were offended by His comments, and many were about to kill him for contradicting what they have been preached to for hundreds of years! Mathew 11:27 “All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him”. Some satanic agents disguised as preachers claimed that if you are told that God will punish sinners in hell fire, we are putting you in fear, claiming that God did not give us the spirit of fear. Here, they misinterpret the word of God to fit their evil purposes. Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”. However, speaking by the very Christ who died so that we may live if we walk according to the spoken word of God as said in Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear Him that is able to destroy both soul and body in hell”. Certainly, the very One who has the power and the will to destroy both soul and body in hell fire of would be children of God; if they refuse to repent of their sinful and evil life styles is God Himself!! Now, if the aforementioned scripture cannot be broken, He has and will certainly continue to destroy both soul and body in hell of all those who have been taken away by deception, lacked knowledge of who He really is, which, as a result has done so many things that offends Him, including idol worshipping, whether it is of another human, self, money, or worshipping of so called virgin Mary, or praying in other names apart from the name of Jesus Christ, or a refusal to confess and forsake their sins due to the belief that once saved you are saved. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil”. Now, judging from the scripture above, one cannot keep God’s commandment that have no fear of Him, even if you are a preacher of the gospel of Christ. Therefore, those who claim not to live in fear of the Holy One due to His unmatchable love, lacks the knowledge of who our heavenly father really is and this is very dangerous. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. However, despite so much love that God has for man, any human who does not live his or her life in holiness, including the young and old and accepts repentance daily in the name of Jesus Christ will certainly be cast into hell fire by the same God of love. And remember that He said in Revelation 21:27 “And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defiled, neither whatsoever worked abomination, or makes a lie: but they which are written in the Lambs book of life”.
