Divine Inspiration (Psalm 27) When I feel insecure, all alone And think that my courage is through I medidate on this sacred verse And remember its God I turn to When I am down, He lifts me up He gives me the strength to go on And with this courage in my heart I know I cant go wrong I praise His name, for He is the strength That delivers me through the night I will be afraid of no one For Jesus is my light And in Christ there are no battles to be lost He proved His eternal love for me At Calvary where He died on the cross We now have the victory He wasnt defeated then After His death came resurrection With triumph He went to Heaven again So to say that He is my refuge I will never be ashamed He is my light and my salvation God of glory shall forever be His name (Day 7: Poems of Fasting and Prayer) by Aisha Brantley
