Do Not Cast Your Pearls Before The Swine. I have often ruminated about this verse in the Bible in silent contemplation and mostly when I post. Whenever I sit down to write about spirituality, about which I know so little, I remind myself that I must not strike an attitude in front of a mountain.Spirituality,as taught in our ancient Vedic scriptures,is beyond stylized philosophy and diversified beliefs. Spirituality is to awaken the unconscious till we attain the state of supra-consciousness, a state of inner silence which connects you to reality. It is a sort of quantum vacuum where we learn to go within the vacuum of our thoughts and agitate all the particles of our potential existence. The vacuum, or gap, is a comforting space rich in unimaginable treasures of wisdom, tranquility and bliss - which, in the mystical tradition,is hidden from our minds lying in the layers of our consciousness. Our normal senses cannot perceive this quantum world or absolute which, in the Vedas, is termed as the cosmic consciousness. This is the silent, secret energy which swirls mystically around our bodies, the core of our existence, quiet and unconscious till we make it conscious from ignorance to wisdom. It is like the precious pearl within the hollow shell lying oblivious of the turbulent world outside - till we pry it open and release the magical radiance. -Vinay-
