Do not EVER shop at Best Buy in Midlothian, on Commonwealth Center Parkway. Seriously. Lying Geek Squad promised to retrieve my sons data from the hard drive of his laptop when it had to be swapped out for a new one since it was under warranty, and get it sent out to us. Now, a week and a half later, after I call to see what is up I am told that opps...nope...since it was junked out under MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY it is called "data retrieval" and I can only get it if I pay $250.00 - Um, where was this info #1: when the laptop was sent out, and #2: when we got the NEW laptop and were told there was no problem getting the data back (either by them installing it, getting sent the hard drive OR via a media stick) My guess? Girl (Christine) forgot to order the data retrieval when we got his new laptop over a week ago so the laptop was junked.....I HATE BEST BUY!!!!!!!
